The symptoms of flu include fever, fatigue, lack of appetite, coughing and sore throat. Some people have also reported vomiting, diarrhoea and aches and pains in their limbs. If you, or someone you have been in contact with, have recently returned from Mexico or another affected country and you have flu-like symptoms. Ring your GP or NHS Direct, stay at home, do not go into your GP surgery, or to a hospital, as you may spread the disease to others. If you need medicine, ask a friend or relative, who does not have symptoms, to go out for you.
